Pancyprian the dwarf satyr welcomes all into this strange, gated place. He may be a prankster, but ultimately he’s harmless, mostly likes the sound of his own voice and to hear others laugh. Pancyprian is a nature spirit, can speak to the earth as easily as you and I speak to each other. He knows that this portal is fractured. He points it out to anyone who passes through. He reminds us that the pillars reflect the ground below our feet. Some come with the terrain, he acknowledges – undersea trenches that spew boiling water, ragged mountain ridges reaching to the sky. But some are caused by humans, and Pancyprian thinks that we should all know – our sea will soon be more garbage than water, our forests nothing but barren stumps. He stomps a cloven hoof in frustration, and to any passing guest he will loudly remind that our planet is changing, faster than we can, and that we need to choose what we want to care for.  And then he ushers you through the Portal, inviting you to go see what we could lose.
